Smeeta is a portrait photographer that shoots editorial and commercial assignment work. She's always chasing after her next personal project - be it chasing light with film or simply making a connection with somebody and asking them to share their story. She is a people person who realized in the last few years that she's also a dog person at heart. Kids and teens are particularly fascinating to her - she loves watching them navigate the world with beautiful awkwardness. She loves the process of discovery in whatever situation is unfolding in her life. Through her work, she tries to create imagery that is positively jarring. She aims to capture the energy that is created between subject, camera and ultimately the viewer.
